About Us

LVO originated around the braai in 2007, as something I literally ‘fell’ into. I took a chance on a project and since then, it is often hard to believe just how far we have come. This is more than a job or a business – this is my passion. I came to realize that if I had a choice to do anything under the sun, I would choose this again without a doubt. This is my way of creating and being creative. I like to see ideas materialize and to find solutions to problems and most of all, to know that we have contributed to someone else’s happiness or satisfaction by directly impacting the space they live in. I Always wanted to be creative with my hands and I inherited my love for woodwork from my grandfather. He was an engineer that had made many beautiful pieces of furniture as a hobby. I used to help him as a young boy and when I went to high school, my passion for woodwork solidified. I also studied banking at the PUK University and did my Honors in business management and marketing as well. I worked in the financial sector for about two years before pursuing my passion in woodwork.
